The Nspire is like the TI 84 on steroids a bit. As an overview, Nspire has more features, in that you create documents, which contain one of 5 types of “pages”. The pages all are “connected”, in that variables or lists created on one type of page is automatically available and updated on all other pages! The Nspire could be justified as classroom calculator for ALL high school classes, and, indeed starting in the 7th grade (advanced mathematics) classroom. Participants will also learn how the iPad is being used in the classroom to meet the needs of students with IEPs, 504s, and dyslexic accommodations.

Canva is a digital graphics creation website where teachers could create professional looking banners, headers, greeting cards, presentations, flyers, menus, etc. Teachers have used it to create banners (headers) for their websites, email signatures, business cards, newsletters, and flyers for events. Nearpod is an awesome interactive multimedia presentation tool that allows you to create interactive lessons, share them with students, and to control what your students see on their devices in real time. Students are able to interact with you, and to submit responses to you using any mobile device, PC, or Mac.
